Collab | Beauty | By Dash Beauty.

NEWS FLASH: gather around mua’s and makeup lovers, its time to take notes! Meet vegan and cruelty free cosmetic brand By Dash Beauty, as their motto says: ‘’where beauty becomes magic’’ I couldn’t agree with it more. Say hello to high quality and pretty prices!

What I love about By Dash Beauty it is so feminine. If you look at their Instagram account, you’ll know what I mean. A feed with love for pink, shades of red and boss babes! When you want to see how the lip gloss colours or different eyelashes look like on a pretty face, you know where to go. From a classic red lip gloss to dramatic Betty Boop eyelashes to makeup accessories, to the perfect dress: it’s like a walk-in closet. Everything is right in front your eyes.

On my lips I used lipliner shade On Fire. Just to line my cupid arrow and the sides of my lips. I did not over line them, I don’t like an unnatural look. The pigment is so good, it does not smudge after hours. I love how it matches perfectly with the lip gloss I’m wearing. It’s called Flamingo and it looks exotic as it sounds. The shade gives me classic vibes, you never can go wrong with red coloured lips. The lip gloss contains shea butter and vitamin E, my lips stay moisturized during my day. A lip balm is not needed!

New In | Unboxing Love #3

Style Tone box from month November popped out of my mail box and it is also my last box to review for you Loves. The theme of this month is Power Woman, instead of wearing fluffy pj’s and fuzzy socks to hide in your cocoon of comfort this season are these products for pampering to pop out of it! As my last box was a bit of ‘’mwah’’ am I pleased to see that this box turned out lovely.

Let me start first with the Lord & Berry ultimate lipliner in the colour Nude. The formula of the pencil is enriched with macadamia oil and waterlily extracts. It is waterproof and blends so well! I have an Essence lipstick (Cute Nude) that suits perfect with it. Or I can use it with the Tini Beauty lipstick in the colour Pink Champagne. When I opened it to try it on I’ve noticed golden glitter sparkles on it! It is so subtle that you cannot see it but when you apply it; hello beautiful lips! I totally see what Style Tone did there; perfect match!

They were very thoughtful about this Power Woman box. The Cailyn Cosmetics Mummy Whipping Bubble Cleansing Mask is a perfect 3 minutes’ mask for an energy boost! I must say that the package looks a bit scary, it does make you curious what is it all about. This sheet mask uses an advanced technology of oxygenated cleansing bubbles imbued within unique mold-inducing microfiber to create a soothing and softening formula that deeply cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin. This is such a mouth full! My curiosity is sparked.

In this season our hands need pampering more than ever, this Coconut Hand Cream from Ziaja comes then in handy. Get it? Handy! Hihi…The smell of coconut is not overwhelming, the familiar coconut smell around you will not occur. Perfect for a tropical feel when it’s cold outside! While we are at it; the nail polish from Meeki Beauty Lab will look like a fresh manicure with this hand cream! In the box, I found the colour Sophie. I don’t wear black coloured nail polishes but I’m going to give this one a try!

As I told you Loves, this is my last Style Tone Box. I had a three-month subscription which I choose to meet new beauty brands. It is also nice to see that the cosmetic brands develop items that are animal cruelty free and vegan.

Which item caught your eye Loves?

FOOD | Mama’s Soup.

The temperatures are rising which means not getting in the mood to cook long-lasting meals. We all need our breaks, right Loves? At those moments my mother makes the best soup that I and my other family members enjoy to eat. Not only it is easy to make, with just one cup and your belly is full. Yum!

The ingredients you need are easy to get and maybe even already in your fridge. Everybody knows those veggies that you don’t know what to do with. You can use them but my mum mostly uses soup vegetables like carrots, leek, celery, cauliflower and potatoes.

First you need to boil water in a stockpot. How much water depends on how many people you want to feed. Boil the water on medium heat and then apply the veggies in the stockpot. I don’t like my soup with big chunks of vegetables so my mother chops it in a blender, not too much because I still like to have a small bite. When you are done with the veggies you let it cook for ten to twenty minutes. Because it is finely chopped, it doesn’t take long for the veggies to cook. While you are at it apply the last ingredients salt, pepper and a broth block to add flavour.

Are you an ‘’soup dipper’’ like me? Serve it with sesame wholemeal bread or breadsticks.

Bonne appetite Loves!

FOOD | Lactose Free Veggie Wraps.

One of my goals for 2016 is to adjust my diet in Lactose Free. We are just one day from April and I must say that turning your diet upside down takes a lot of time. I have noticed that I have to take this step by step otherwise I turn into my old habits way to fast. Whenever I’m doing groceries I’m trying all the lactose free products that I can find, (which is not a lot) out and since I started I tried a lot that tastes awful! Thinking about it now makes me even cringe. So I’m going to try until I found the ones that taste good.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw and tasted this cream cheese from Philadelphia. It has the same creamy taste that I used to taste in non-lactose free cream cheese. I’m definitely a ‘’creamy person.’’ I like creamy food like Greek or Turkish yogurts and feta cheese. So I’m glad I bumped into this one at my grocery store!

Since I’m taking it one step at the time let me share with you Loves this Lactose Free foodie. All you need is tortilla wraps, black seedless olives, cucumber and Lactose Free Cream Cheese. So easy! Heat the wraps in a frying pan for a couple of minutes, I like mine a bit crunchy but not too much like a taco.  Lubricate the cream cheese on the wrap and fill it in with cucumber and black olives and you’re done!

IMG_3905

This foodie is perfect for a healthy snack during your day.  It gives you that energy boost that you need from your hard work or from your studies. Because it is so easy to make you wouldn’t have to grab an unhealthy snack instead. Besides those two minutes of frying the tortilla wrap is a nice way to get up from your chair to stretch your legs. Two birds in one blow, right Loves?

Are you also allergic from a type of food? And would you like to see more Lactose Free Foodies?
