Fashion #OOTD | Different City & Blogger Meeting!

The reason why I like to blog is the interaction you get from different people all over the world. It feels like getting candy for the hard work I put in my blogging game. So, I am definitely open for meeting other bloggers and explore other cities! When it comes to shooting for outfits, I depend on my sister. She is not all the time available that’s why it is a pleasure to meet another blogging gal! Especially when you have a lot in common, the conversations we head felt natural. Like I know her for quite a while! Esra Elif if your reading this, it was a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for spending time with me and bringing me to the cutest café of Amersfoort. Next time it is definitely on me!

For this day I’m wearing a combination of edgy and chic. The army green colored jeans have side pockets on my tights. With it I wore a black sweater and black pointed nose ankle boots. I am without a doubt an ankle boots girl, I am obsessed with them! In my humble shoe collection, you can find different colors ankle boots. Talking about obsession, bags. Yes, bag-o-holic writing this. A black bag is always a good thing and what the fun part of the bag is, it is a square bag. Now I have something different than most bags.

Don’t let the sun fool you! It was a cold sunny day; a day that makes you think you don’t need a coat and when you go outside you instantly feel the cold wind greeting you. My grey shawl was a pleasure to have, even though it got blown away like my hair. The trench coat kept me warm enough. It is a coat that is perfect for autumn days but to cold for winter days. Don’t you just love the diversity in fashion!

Fashion #OOTD |Trench(coat), Cap & Go!

Loves, I have a new outfit of the day for you! It has been awhile since my latest OOTD, which was during Summer in Morocco. I miss Morocco so much, it’s getting colder and colder in The Netherlands, typical autumn weather. Dark clothes, sweaters and hats are taking it over from colourful clothing, sandals and sun glasses.

A black skinny is my all-time favourite clothing item, I have like two of the same fit in my closet. I want them to stay black, so I wear them alternately. This way they stay black and I was them when needed. Autumn equals oversized, I’ll make sure that I have black sweaters in my wardrobe. You never can go wrong with black! What you also never can go wrong with is a trench coat. I love how it adds flair into a simple outfit, like the one I’m wearing. Beige is the perfect colour, it never goes out of style. I like the details on them, like the black strap on the sleeves and black buttons.

I’m lately obsessed with my captain cap! If you follow me on Snapchat, SaidaSnaps, you have seen me rocking it during the cold weather. I like the woven strap and captain button on it. It gives that edgy, yet chic look. I also hide unabashedly underneath the cap during cycling, one: I can conquer the wind and two: my hair doesn’t turn into a cotton ball. I’m ready for autumn, black clothing is hanging in my closet and black shoes are taking the front row on my shoe shelf. Ankle boots is my go-to shoe at the moment. Wearing it with the black skinny appears my legs look longer. Quite impressive, what shoes can do!

A bag, also a must-have that makes an outfit complete. I finally got a Paul’s Boutique in my collection of high-end bags. The bag is literally square! It doesn’t collapse when you put it down, which is a plus. It also has a strap, I can wear it like a crossbody bag and as a handbag. I like that combination, I don’t have to worry about tired hands or shoulders.

I’m in my midst of my exams and writing a new blogpost feels so good. Setting my mind on something else is the perfect way to go on with learning when I hit that publish button!

How is everything going on with you Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Stripes At Home.

This is my first outfit I posted on my blog…This year. The last couple of months I have been so busy with my studies and my home life, that I forgot about myself. I have been since I can remember an emotional eater. I gain weight when I’m feeling stressed, even at some moments during my days, I don’t realise I have been eating a lot during the day. Eating snacks or sandwiches late at night while I’m watching a good movie or show on Netflix has been rooted in my routine. It was the perfect way to escape my daily routines and thoughts.

Since my semester from college is over I have been hitting the gym three times a week and I feel much better than before. If you follow me on Instagram you will notice my gym journey. I feel more energetic and confident in my own body, especially when I lost a couple of kilos. I am still not where I want to be, but I’m still motivated to work on it. Even during my vacay in Morocco.

My mother took these pictures in our home in Oujda, Morocco. I love how the tiles on the wall adds flair into my ootd. Most of the houses in Morocco look like this, a lot of tiles and 1001 nights Moroccan décor. It is so colourful, it matches perfectly with the green and stripes of my outfit. Flared trousers make you look skinnier and vertical stripes makes your legs appear longer. The perfect combination for a shorty like me!

Looking at these pictures made me realise I literally look like a Moroccan flag! The green top and red ring bag are the perfect shades for it. I am so obsessed with the golden details of the bag, red and gold is such a chic combination. It also has the right size for a crossbody bag. I prefer wearing flared trousers with heels. I chose to wear a black block heel sandals with ankle straps. The heel is the right centimetres, it lifts the ends of my trouser just right off the ground.

It feels like it has been forever since I posted my last ootd. I appreciate your thoughts about it! Share with me if I have to post more outfits on my blog.

Beauty Look | Full Cover #MOTD

I’m back Loves, I missed blogging so much. On my Instagram I told you the reason why and I’m happy to see you wished me a welcome back. I appreciated it a lot! I’m going to focus on my blog because during my ‘’sabbatical’’ I have been inspired to work on upcoming blogposts. First blogpost that popped in my mind is a beauty look. I haven’t done one for a while, it felt good to play with makeup for a full cover look. Especially when I kept my makeup simple during my college days.

Let’s get right into it Loves. After I rinsed my face with lukewarm water I applied Farsáli Rose Gold Elixir 24K infused beauty oil. Such a mouth full, but it works heavenly! It has a sweet peachy smell and it moistures very well. Then I used Essence Anti Redness Colour Correcting liquid concealer. I used it to blemish my impurities, it’s a truly holy grail because it neutralizes redness. The foundation that I used after the green concealer is, KIKO Milano in shade Cool Rose #20. For a sun kissed glow I used Lancaster Infinite Bronzer in #001. Not only it has a 15 SPF, it feels like luxury on my skin. Also, a plus: the smell. I also contoured my face like I did here. Since I’m having the hang of it, I enjoy when I do a good contour. I used Primark PS Contour Shade Crayon paired with Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting concealer to highlight the parts I wanted highlighted. On my cheeks I used Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in shade Medium 2. I used a little bit just to add more volume to the sun kissed glow. On my cheekbones I used KIKO Milano Glow Fusion powder highlighter in #02. Also, a little bit because I don’t want to dominate the glow. I also used ICONIC London Illuminator in shade Original to have that warm glow you always get when you visited the beach.

For my moving eyelids I used first L’Oréal Paris eyeshadow in shade Pop #410. From the middle to the outside ends, I used L’Oréal Paris eyeshadow in shade Smoky #306. I also used it on the inner corners of my eyes for an open look. On top of my eyelids and under my eyebrows I used H&M eyeshadow in shade All White Already to finish the open look. For eyeliner wings I used MAC Modern Twist Kajal liner in shade Cat’s Meow. For my eyelashes I used Primark PS Amplif-Eyed mascara. I love the brush of this mascara, it’s covers all my small lashes perfectly. To tame my eyebrows, I used Tweezerman Transparent Brow Mousse.

Now comes the cherry on top of the pie. I used on my lips Christian Dior Rouge in shade Rose Rose #568. I love this shade because it comes close to my natural lip colour.

Tell me your thoughts about this look Loves. Happy to read them, I missed it a lot!

Beauty Review | Sparkles In A Tube.

Highlighters in a tube are to me a great beauty invention! When I’m in a hurry I just grab one and put it in my bag without getting worried it gets broken or it opens in my bag and make a mess. Since it’s fluid I only use the tips of my fingers to apply it on my cheekbones, no brush needed. On top of that they are such eye candies! As you all know me Loves, I’m rose gold and simplicity obsessed.

The first thing I did is smell the product. I definitely buy with my nose and if makeup smells chemical I don’t buy it, no matter which brand it is. With these highlighter creams I am not worried about it. The first tube I swatched is called Pearl. I like this light-yellow highlighter a lot. When you apply it on your cheekbones and blend it with your fingertips you get an instant glow, it’s good pigmented. It even looks like that natural glow! Which is perfect for daily use.

The second highlighter cream is called Oyster Pink. I like this tube because it gives that shy glowy look, it suits perfect with my beauty look Sweetheart. This shade is also perfect for under your eyebrow to create an open look. On top of that, the tube has a perfect size, you can keep it in your bag for those quick touch up days.

Honestly Loves, I am impressed by these highlighter creams from Primark. Both are well pigmented and easy to use.

Beauty Look | So Glamorous.

Loves, I did a new makeup look. It has been a while since I posted my everyday look. This time I chose to do a simple glamorous look, perfect for the upcoming holidays. This look is for all the ladies who prefer spending more time with their loved ones than in front of a mirror.

First, I started with my all-time favourite concealer from Essence. This long-lasting concealer is truly my holy grail when it comes to blemish my impurities. The shade #10 Natural Beige suits my skin tone perfectly! After applying the concealer, I used the next budget topper, BB cream from Alvira. What I like is that it matts without me using a compact powder. For someone with an oily skin like me is this great for an BB cream. It also has an SPF 15 factor, it is moisturizing and gives a healthy-looking look. A slightly dislike is that it doesn’t give a full cover. It doesn’t bother me, because I only use a BB cream to tone down redness and eye fatigue.

The next thing I did is my eyes. I used the middle colour from Makeup Revolution baked eyeshadow palette in the name Pure & Innocent. This colour comes close to my own skin tone. It looks like a natural glow when I applied it and look back at the pictures. I also applied it under my eyebrows. On my brows I used Chella Transparent Defining gel just to restrain it. The eyeliner pen that I used is from Starlooks Pro. This luxe long wear eyeliner has a burgundy shade. I like it, it is a good different than black! On the part where my tear duct is I used PS… Primark Strobe Highlighter in the shade Sand. I used this highlighter instead of my cheekbone on my eyes for an open look. On my eyelashes I used Ace of Face Eyerule #3 Volumizing Curling Mascara +. It has a high-volumash formula. It does curl my eyelashes perfectly. I like the hairbrush that it has. The hairs are small, I don’t make a mess because of it.

Here comes my cheeks part. First I used PS… Primark Blusher in shade Amaretto. I normally use a peach coloured blush. But this coffee brown shade I fell in love with! The pigment is great, it gives a soft look. On my cheekbones I used BeeBee Highlighter powder for a subtle and glamorous look.

On my lips I used MAC cosmetics lustre lipstick in the shade Lady Bug. It has a red-orange tone that I like. I am lately in love with my MAC lipsticks, I use them more than ever! I also think that this colour is perfect for Loves who find red lipstick a bit too much.

What do you think about this look and are you excited for the holidays? I certainly am!

Fashion #OOTD | Summer Floral Dress.

Summer has officially started and this is my first Summer ootd. Summer is one of my favourite season, so imagine my joy while shooting for this outfit Loves. I felt like I was in a fairy-tale because one: it was a while since my last outfit post and two: the location was so beautiful!

Summer equals dresses and I am so not complaining. Dresses are so feminine, cute and adorable! I’m wearing a floral A-line maxi dress with butterfly sleeves. I am not a ‘’print lover’’ but floral prints I can deal with. The dress comes with a twisted belt with black beads and golden details. As you all know me Loves: details make an outfit complete.

While standing in front of my closet, thinking about what to wear for a shoot, came also the thought: which bag should I take with me? I don’t know about you Loves, but I often doubt about what kind of bag I should take with me when I wear a maxi dress. A big one? A tote? I wanted to wear one that suits the dress and since the dress is bohemian I chose a red chic crossbody bag from my collection. I like that the bag has a faux snakeskin at the front with golden details and the deep red colour. A perfect match with the dress!

To keep everything not over the top, I kept my sandals simple. I wore silver coloured flip lop sandals. It feels so amazing to wiggle your toes when you wear flats. Oh, I love Summer!

Share your thoughts with me Loves. Also, can we take a moment by looking at the roses? So beautiful!

Fashion #OOTD | Knee boots & Pink.

img_4732

These boots are made for walking! I truly like this high boots trend because you can wear them with many different clothing pieces. Comfy with a legging and oversized sweater, girly with a skirt and blouse or just like how I wore it; casual with a denim skinny jean and an oversized pink sweater.

img_4724

There is one clothing item that belongs into your wardrobe year in, year out and that’s a leather jacket. To me it is like a little black dress; you can style it in many ways and it even doesn’t matter which style you have. From chic to sporty, the leather jacket is truly an item that is ‘’fashion fit-all’’. What I also can appreciate is layering. I believe as a shorty the different heights of wearing clothes makes you look longer. It’s like the perfect illusion!

img_4741

I always try to combine the right colours when it comes to my clothes, this time too. I kept it simple with my chequered scarf and long necklace pink gemstone necklace. The blue of my denim jean and the pink of my sweater suits perfect with the colours of my scarf and because of it, it gives my outfit an overall look.

img_4739

I can say without a doubt that I have a bag and shoes addiction. When I see them in stores I get persuaded easily just because of the size, colour or detail. It is quite crazy because I have almost no space for them in my bedroom. Some I have for years and I still can’t get enough of them! I think every lady is familiar with this feeling so please don’t judge me! Maybe it’s because I’m lately in the ‘’everything needs to be pink mood’’. The colour is just so sweet a feminine and it makes me feel like that too.

Fashion #OOTD | Bright White.

IMG_2465

IMG_2461

I don’t wear a lot of sneakers but when I do I prefer them with details on them. Because of it my outfit has a nice addition. I must say that I never thought I would succumb to buy white sneakers because I doubted whether I would wear them or not. When I slowly saw that the streets turned into white sneakers parade I couldn’t resist to follow the crowd, certainly when I saw these bright whities on display in the shoe store. The snake print patch on the heel is fed into the sides of the sneakers which makes it not just too plain and they feel sooo comfy to wear! It feels like I’m walking on little clouds; so soft is the inside of the sneakers.

IMG_2445

IMG_2447

As you all know me Loves, I have an eye for details and love to bring it back in my style. So I noticed lately I’m adding faux snake patterns into my wardrobe. I have this black shopper for a while now and never looked at it as something I would like; I mean it’s just a black shoulder bag. But whenever I use it I feel like ‘’huh, it’s a good bag’’ and I’m starting to like it. Sounds crazy but I believe some of you Loves once had this feeling too. I wouldn’t be me if I’m not going to add some flair into it. When I saw this faux fur pompom I knew I wanted to have it! It is such a fun addition on my bag. It’s so fluffy and blue…My favourite colour so the choice was easy made.

IMG_2452

IMG_2247

IMG_2446

Whenever I want to do something outside without too much fuss I rather put something comfy on then go over the top. This OOTD was a typical day like that. I went with my mum, my sister and her little sweetheart for our typical four musketeer’s getaway. So you could imagine Loves that I wanted to have rather fun then feel uncomfortable. I chose to wear a stretchy skinny and an oversized sweater. Sporty and comfy at the same time!

That day was also clouded and little drops of rain fell from the sky. To prevent my hair to look like a cotton candy I tight it in a low ponytail and I was ready to go!

What it your typical comfy day Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Little Black Dress.

IMG_3613

Every woman should have a LBD in her closet. This item can be worn at many different occasions. What I like about a black dress it’s timeless, it just never goes out of style. I’m wearing one with long sleeves and a half up turtleneck. I’m lately into the turtlenecks sweaters, tops you name it Loves!

IMG_3628

I went for the minimal chic look, so I combined the LBD with my long grey coat that I recently bought. I was looking for a while for a long coat but I doubted it would suit me because of my length; I’m quite a shorty with just 1.63 metre. Since I took the step to buy one, I’m wearing it daily! With this #OOTD I wore it with my high heeled ankle boots. As I told you before Loves, I’m into detailed items and these boots are one of them. That’s the beauty of heels, it makes your legs look longer and with a long coat they seem endless. I brought the grey colour back with my crossover bag. I like the snakeskin pattern on it a lot. It gives the bag an edgy yet a chic look.

IMG_3630

Writing about details, I braided my hair in two braids starting on the top of my head until the end of my hair to create the illusion that I have long hair, but in fact it is only a little bit over my shoulder length long. I’m still learning to braid my hair tighter and for the first time it turned out pretty fine. Whenever I put my hair out of my face I wear my ear cuff, it gives a playful look and it is not over the top when you wear it only with small earrings. So I wore it with my DRKS earrings that has been gifted to me in a goodie bag since I attended the event.

The rest of my outfit I left simple, even my makeup. Less is truly more!

What do you think about this OOTD Loves?

Coat: Elegance LBD: H&M Thights: Hema Ankle Boots: H&M Crossover Bag: Primark Ear Cuff: H&M Earrings: DRKS

Fashion #OOTD | Rose Gold Pink.

IMG_3416

IMG_3413

Since I’m having Spring vibes and the days getting longer I attend to change my clothing in cute colours like pink. Not only it brightens my mood, I also feel that pink suits my character. It sounds weird but I feel comfy in pink.

I told you Loves that I’m into loose fit tops; this is the reason why this burgundy coloured sweater became my favourite. I wore it over a pink loose fit tee that I wore last Summer. Who said you cannot wear Summer clothing during Winter? Because of it you can enjoy more from the clothing piece and you can watch your pennies. Two birds with one blow! At the same time, burgundy goes so well with pink!

IMG_3425 IMG_3446

I can feel happy when I wear a skinny that suits my body figure. This cigar fit denim jean feels even comfy. It is still made from real denim and not that stretch denim, if you know what I mean? I really don’t like this kind of fabric because during your day it turns saggy.

In my last Goodies Look Book I bought these shoes with sale. I truly like things that is not ‘’perfect’’. In fact all goodies that have details or edges. The stripe on the nose of the ankle booth and the belt details caught my eyes when I saw it on the store shelf. The bag I chose for this ootd is a golden oldie. I have this bag for years! Just like my shoes collection. The bag is spacious I can cram everything in it hihi….! Off topic: Please, do let me know if you would like to see my over the years collected bags.

IMG_3441

IMG_3439

Writing about details Loves; investing in good pieces like a watch will keep you happy during the years and especially if it has an emotional value. This watch from Guess is a birthday gift from my sister. I’m lately into the necklace with necklace trend. These pink rose goodies is been gifted to me when I attend the press event from Mooi PR. The infinity necklace is from Swarovski and the necklace bar is from TWYN by Mi Moneda. Yet again this necklace bar has a value that is important to me. It is very personal because my name is with my own handwriting engraved on it by TWYN. Love it!

A watch or even a necklace can make your outfit complete. It’s a fun addition that you can style in your own way!

Fashion | Shoe-A-Holic!

IMG_3466

IMG_3469

In my previous #ootd I told you Loves I threw a glimpse at my shoes to wear with the outfit I posted. Now I’m giving you a look at my shoe collection! I’m having quite an addiction and collected over the year’s shoes. I have shoes that are more than five years old! Having lots of shoes is an advantage since you can often change with your outfit or even just with your own mood. Shoes come in many colours, shapes and sizes so every woman or man will find their dream pair. Besides clothing sizes changes a lot but feet sizes will always remain the same, right Loves?

Let me start with my black coloured shoes. As you can see, I have many ankle boots. I think it is because I prefer them the most. That’s the beauty of shoes; I have from flat soles to heels and simple to detail. Same goes with my brown coloured shoes. Wearing Uggs can be sometimes a relieve, especially in the winter month!

IMG_3470

IMG_3472

Shoes are for all occasions. I can be so happy with just watching them displayed in my closet just because the heels are too high for wearing it all day. I keep this torture for special day’s hihi…

IMG_3476

IMG_3480

Speaking about occasions, Summer shoes or Moroccan loafers, do I need to say more? And I even did not show you my whole collection of it. Ballerinas, sandals and slippers are during Summer nice to wear. Imagine wiggling your nail polished toes in them!

Which pair do you like Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Black & Grey.

IMG_3358

IMG_3371

I can’t get enough of black and grey…Apparently. I think it’s because it is getting colder and darker every day. As you all know me; I don’t like the seasons autumn and winter. Too rainy, too dark too soon and windy! Especially the weather in the Netherlands changes just with a blink of an eye. Winter means also sweater weather! The only thing that I love. Sometimes I feel the need to snuggle all day with a comfy sweater. And whenever you go home you don’t want to change it you just wear your pjays instead of a skinny hihih…

The turtleneck sweater is made from mohair and is comfy oversized. It will keep me warm during these cold days. This time I wore a black waxed skinny. What I like about this skinny is it always stays black no matter how many times you wash it and it feels not to tight on my body like denim.

I roamed through many clothes racks, and still I did not find a black coat that I like. One day my lovely sister left hers at home and I didn’t give it back. If you read this sweetheart…Thank you! Hihi..

IMG_3372

IMG_3355

When I threw a glimpse at my shoes (read: collection) I didn’t know what to wear or to choose. But I did know that I wanted something to wear that makes this outfit not from comfy to sloppy. Eventually it became one of my favourite black boots. I like the golden stud’s details on it. With the pointy nose and small heels it looks chic yet edgy.

Writing about details; I wore my bohemian necklace that I truly love! Since it’s a comfy look I chose my grey shopper. This bag is typical a throw-anything-you-want-in-it-bag. But the suede faux snakeskin look makes it not look sloppy.

What do you think Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Faux Fur In January.

IMG_1416

My first OOTD of 2016! It took me a while because I’m having troubles with my camera. I’m not happy how it turns out whenever I put them in my laptop. Too dark! Too blurry! I really want a new one!

Black skinny jeans; I never can get enough of them. This versatile garment you will always find it in my closet and I believe I’m not the only one. What I like about this skinny jean is the fabric. It contains cotton but also elastane so I can move freely during my day.

IMG_1432

With the cold in the Netherlands I’m glad I found my holy grail in turtle necks sweaters and that for someone who used to hate them! I’m kind of enjoying the grey colour. This shade of grey in particularly. This time I chose for a half up turtle neck to wear because one; for a change and two I like wearing sweaters in this season!

IMG_1439

To stay warm I wore my faux fur gilet too. I love how edgy it looks. To keep my outfit monochrome I wore my black ankle boots with it and a black crossover bag. As you all know me Loves I like good accessories. My Daniel Wellington watch is a classic because of the black wrist belt it matches perfectly with my silver bracelets. Even though the details on my crossover bag are golden I kept my jewellery black and silver because why not? Nobody is perfect and certainly not me when it comes to outfits.

What do you think Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Colourful Autumn.

IMG_2463

IMG_2461

The only thing I like about autumn is the warmth that it brings. Candles flicker romantic, fuzzy socks and pumpkin spiced sweets. I don’t know about you Loves but I automatically change my wardrobe and outfits into autumn proof.

I like the dark red colour of my blazer and the details on the sleeve. It makes me feel retro! I wore it with my peplum top I had hidden for a while in my closet. It didn’t fit me back then. If you follow me on Instagram you would know I’m taking more care of my body. I started to hit the gym and eat healthier, I lost already 4 kilos! I’m happy and determined to lose more weight. Thumbs up for me!

IMG_2467

IMG_2471

IMG_2478

Back into my OOTD. The denim jean I wore is a cigar fit. I like the way how it fits on my body. It is slightly different from skinny jeans because of the leg opening. I just feel more comfy in it. Very feminine with my peplum top! The buttons on the back and the long part of the top is just a surprise whenever you see the back.

Shoes-bag-top match! I love my shoes, the details on it is edgy, perfect when I combined it with my chic bucket bag. I toned down with jewellery. I wore only my pearl dots and an ear cuff. Chic X Edgy!

IMG_2414

Autumn. The season I’d rather not have. Especially in the Netherlands, the weather is a mess! The sun was shining, fifteen minutes later it rained. Quite daunting if you want to shoot for outfits!

I have to make the best of it, so I wore my pink sweater with the blue blouse I wore for this summer OOTD. Combining summer clothing with cardigans or sweaters works perfectly fine. Because the weather changes a lot I wore my black sailor blazer with it. The buttons has anchors on it and I love this detail!

This autumn you will see a lot of knee boots, I bought mine last autumn so I’m happy I already had them. I wore it with a denim jean, warm and comfy! Perfect for those college days to look feminine and fashionable. This style I truly love!

Statement necklaces are an item that is still coming back. They don’t call them statement necklaces for a reason, so many of them to choose from! I kept mine simple because I just like simple and elegant.

I added a new bag into my collection. Just like shoes it’s a habit I have.

What do think about this OOTD Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | White Tee & Denim Wash.

IMG_2203

IMG_2238

IMG_2239

Dressing simple can be so satisfying. I would parade around in just a tee and denim jean every second of the year.

As you all know Loves, I’m on holiday to Morocco and if you ever visited this beautiful country you would know how the weather feels. As much I adore Summer and would stay outside for the whole day, it is just not possible with this kind off heat in Morocco. Sometimes it is 45 degrees outside! I’m not even able to open my eyes because of the sun that shines so bright.

Then came white tees! They are perfect for this kind off heat. Because it’s white and the fabric is cotton you won’t ‘’absorb’’ the sunbeams. I wore with it a high waist denim jean. You either love or hate this kind of jeans, especially because it is denim washed. Normally I won’t wear this kind of denim but this time I said to myself why not?

The first time I wore these slippers I felt a bit manly, to be honest. I would not buy them in the first place if I didn’t know I would walk in them like I’m walking barefoot. Because of the shape of the sole you can walk on paths that are not from tarmac. Perfect for long walks in Morocco!

To finish my OOTD, I kept my accessories simple too. I love the edginess of my clutch, the classiness of my watch and the details of my glasses!

What do you think about it Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Colourful Oujda.

I’m in my hometown! In fact these pictures are taken in front of my home. I live in Oujda (pronounce: wousda). The place to be every Summer!

I must say I felt a little bit uncomfortable while shooting for this OOTD. Not only was the lens of the camera focused on me but also a lot of eyes. And because of it I had many uncomfortable looking pictures and a lot of tripping; but hea, all for the perfect shot!

I’m wearing a loose fit pants. It’s such a dream come true wearing one during Summer, especially in Morocco. When I wore them I felt like princess Jasmine from Aladdin. Ok, I’m exaggerating but you know what I mean hihi…

I’m lately combining colours with other colours. I’ve noticed that I’m crawling out of my shell; normally you won’t see me in colourful pieces. To still keep the tone down I wore a navy blue top to accentuate the pink. To me it would be a mix match of colours if I combine bright colours with bright colours.

The ones who know me, knows that I pledge for good accessories. When I saw these cobalt blue plateau shoes I had to have it! The colour is just beautiful and because of the plateau soles they walk terrific!

I finished it off with arm candy and a clutch. What can I say about them? Except they make my OOTD complete!

What do you think Loves?

Fashion #OOTD | Floral Printed Kimono.

IMG_1761

It was such a beautiful day when I shot for this outfit! A typical all-the-odds-were- with-you-day. The sun and the wind helped me to set me in the mood to strike many poses, even the location gave me a ‘’fashion shooting vibe’’ I enjoyed every bit of it!

IMG_1775

Not only I felt in my element shooting for this outfit, it also was a family day. I went on a pick nick with my lovely mother, sister and her little bunny. I feel really happy during these moments and honestly whenever you feel like this, it shows on the pictures too!

For this look I chose to be simple in wearing a pants and a top because of the floral kimono. I always wanted to have one but I found them quite expensive so I’m glad I stumbled on this one!

Black trousers are a blessing in disguise, I find it quite annoying when the black colour fades away whenever you wash it. With this faux leather washed look on the skinny I experience this problem less, hallelujah! I wore a white top with it because one it was hot that day and two black on black is always good but to change it once in a while is good too!

I like the shoes I’m wearing. The thick heel helps a lot while you walk and the bag is cute to wear with this floral printed kimono!

I can be so happy if I wear an denim skinny jeans that has a perfect fit! With my pear shaped figure it’s quite hard to find one.

I love my jaunty top! It gives this outfit a girly yet chic look. When I shoot for this outfit, it was a beautiful day. The weather was just right for wearing an cardigan. The great thing about this cardigan is that it has a butterfly fit. A bit tight on the arms and the rest loose. Perfect for staying warm yet fashionable to wear!

As you all know me, I like good accessories on an outfit. The edgy touch of zippers on the FVH clutch gives this bag a stalwart look. Perfect combination with the striking heels! Not only I can find myself in to the point shoe trend, but also with sassy detailed shoes!

Do like this outfit as much as I do?

It’s been a while since I made a make-up look for you all Loves. I want to do something different, something fierce! I really like my eyes and with this look I want to make them POP and keep the rest gentle.

For this look I used first Etos Skin Smoothing Primer. This transparent is dream come true for blemishing impurities. Before I went further, I let the primer leave a bit in and started with Catrice Cosmetics BB Allround Foundation Cream. It has a SPF 30 Factor which is good but I must say this BB Cream is good to work with and the pigment covers quite enough but is not a miracle wonder.

For my eye waterlines I used Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil 01 Black Fever. What I really like about the eye pencils from Essence is that they are soft and indeed long lasting! On my eyelashes I used Maybelline New York Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara. I ADORE this mascara! It has a great brush; it gives no clumps and truly gives your eyelashes a voluptuous volume! On the half of my eyelashes I used Blue Volume Mascara from Hema. It has such a great pigment! Do I need to say more about this gem?

For the finishing touch I used Primark Sun Kissed Shimmer Dust. Normally I only apply on my cheekbones and a bit on my t-zone (forehead, tip of my nose and chin.) but this time I blend it with my Pink Essentials Blush Brush all over my face to have a more natural look.

On my lips I used Calvin Klein 22312 Shades Of Pink Ultimate Edge Lip gloss. What a long name for a lip gloss! But it gives a gentle look on my lips.

What do you think about this look Loves? Isn’t it perfect for a night out?

Have you ever been in love on an item you saw in a magazine? I was it on a poncho from H&M. I wanted to buy it on online but guess what? Sold out for WEEKS! Happy I was when I found this one out of the blue!

Who is not familiar with those comfy days but yet you want to look fashionable Saturday was such a day to me. I went shopping with my mum, sister and her little girl a real ladies day!

It’s been a while since I put the shoes on I wore that day. Like many others I keep in a closet. Thank god you can wear them even when years passes by. Clothes sizes changes, shoes sizes never!

Do you agree?

Fashion – Tip | Statement Alert.

I’m obsessed with the trend statement necklaces! I’m seeing them everywhere, from sophisticated to chic to truly eye catchers! I love the way it sparkles your outfit especially when you wear it under the collar of a blouse.

Statement necklaces, the name says it, it really does give you a statement. You can wear it on a school/college day or a chic one at the office. Don’t forget the holidays, just for the last finishing touch on your Christmas outfit.

I really like the one I wore with the outfit Colorblock Statement. Cute for summer, an eye catcher for other days! The second one I like is the simple gold/bordeaux one it’s just cute!

Of course I like all my statement necklaces, every time I want to wear one is a true surprise which one I want to wear!

Tell me your thoughts Loves!

Fashion #OOTD | Before December.

Last Saturday I got inspired from Mila Kunis in the 70s Show! I wanted a different outfit post to show you all. I mostly wear skinny jeans but seeing the latest trends I of course had to keep up.

Wearing a boot cut jeans is a blessing for short people! It makes your legs look longer besides that it makes you look feminine.I went for natural colors because that’s what Mila mostly wears on the show so I thought why not. It suits also perfect for fall.

I saw many fashion bloggers wearing hats and it looked so good on them! So I added one more to mine collection of head pieces and I love it!

Have a great last month Loves!

Fashion #OOTD | Autumn Bleu.

IMG_0925 IMG_0910IMG_0930 IMG_0927

I had a lunch date with my lovely sister as I was dressing myself to go; I took a last look in the mirror and I noticed that I was dressed in mostly bleu…I was totally unaware of it! I guess the ‘’ghost of blue’’ took me over hihi…

You can wear perfectly a dress in the fall! Wearing it with tights and a warm coat with a scarf and you are good to go.

I really like my statement necklace. It gave my outfit a chic touch. Most of all an eye catcher just completes an outfit. My bag gave me a little summer vibe! Bright full colors! Summer all over again…To bad it rained right after I met my sister and I had to take my umbrella-ella-ella ey!

Gilet: H&M Leather Jacket: Hema Blouse: H&M Pants: H&M Shoes: H&M Necklace: Primark Bag: SOFIA

To be honest…I don’t like the season Autumn. The weathers change instantly in the Netherlands. I always bring my umbrella with me, if I don’t my hair is going to look like an cotton candy…!

But…New season means new wardrobe! And that moi ja’dore! I like my fluffy gilet from H&M. I’m wearing it on top of my leather jacket to keep me warm. Don’t you have a leather jacket, no worries it looks good on a warm sweather. Make sure you wear one as long as the gilet to prevent short and long layers. Personally I don’t like that.

What do you think of my new bag? I love it! Do I need to say more? Who knows me know that I like details. The golden details of my outfit fits very well together. With gold you just never could go wrong!

Fashion #OOTD | Colorblock Statement.

IMG_0769 IMG_0779 IMG_0781

I really like this outfit! I feel very femine in it. As you all know me…Blue, blue, blue lover overhere! Navy blue is such a classic color, it is always good like black.

In my first post I told that I really like eye catchers as accessories. It could be anything. The reason why I love them is that even tough you put something on like a plain white shirt and a denim jeans, when you combine it with an eye catcher you don’t need more!

I never thought that colorblocking would be something for me because I thought it would not look good. I was wrong.

How would you combine this maxi skirt? Please do show me…!

Dutch Model Event Report. | A New World!

IMG_0232 IMG_0236 IMG_0302 IMG_0245 IMG_0365 IMG_0455 IMG_0404 IMG_0498 I attended the Dutch Model Event as you can see. It’s an event that visitors and future models can attend to get casted for fashion shows. That can be for haute couture and commercial. You also can get casted for television as in commercials and acting roles.

Ofcourse I was very excited! Like it was a new world for the future models it was for me too! I saw beautiful creations on the catwalk! I really liked the collection of Dutch designer Addy van den Krommenacker! This collection was ready to wear which is very nice to see from a designer. The last picture is his creations. http://www.addyvandenkrommenacker.com

I also liked Qalanjo. It’s a African/Somali clothing line that is modernized in traditional clothing. It was very beautiful to see the link between high fashion and culture. They did it very well! http://www.qalanjofashion.com

On my instagram: SaidaChahid you can look at the video I took of the QALANJO African collection!

I wish the winners a bright future! Curious who won? Visit Dutch Model Event facebookpage https://www.facebook.com/dutchmodelevent
