Fashion | Head Over (Heels) Shoes!

‘’I have enough shoes’’ said no woman ever! It’s a fact that we ladies always say to ourselves ‘’I don’t have this one yet’’ or ‘’it is on sale’’ while we have many from different styles and colours. Don’t forget the many pairs we have from the same style but in different colours! Shoes are like black little dresses, for every occasion we need/have one. Every season needs a new wardrobe well, the same goes for shoes. Right Loves? Spring equals no-more-fuzzy-socks-in-boots attitude, time to wiggle our toes!

As much I enjoy living in the Netherlands I wish I could change the weather with a blink of an eye. During spring the sun comes behind the clouds with the wind chasing after him. We sometime have a beautiful sunny morning that turns into rain and thunder and makes our hair like cotton candy. Even the weather app can fool you. It would be such a bummer when you are wearing open shoes and the rain pours out of the sky right on top of your freshly nail polished toes. Thank god for Oxford shoes! I fell in love with the pink and the black lacquer one. This is what I meant with same style, different colour. I even walk so comfortable with them. What more can I say!

Now, it is obviously that I am a shoe-a-holic. I am having lately a crush on suede/velvet shoes. I wanted a good black loafer and a cute block heels shoes. Making the decision to put the loafer and sandals into the virtual shopping basket was easy made. You can wear the loaders as slippers just by letting the heel parts down. It reminded me of the fluffy slippers from Gucci. I mostly walk on flat shoes because of college and whenever I run for small errands. Sometimes I feel bad for not wearing heels, quite a waste because I have them collecting dust in my closet. With these I am trying to change that. Now I must wait until summer to wiggle my toes in them.

Today I’m giving you Loves an update from my previous blogpost about my beauty favourites. While that blogpost was more about my basics that I always have in my beauty stash, am I going to share with you what I daily use. While my beauty routine changes with the season; this beauty love I always keep using. Although the brand and colour changes but otherwise they are here to stay.

When I can’t wash my face thoroughly due to lack of time, these face wipes come in handy. I use them first before I use water. When I buy these wipes I always search for the ones that is intended for sensitive skin and is PH neutral. The reason behind it is because I want to prevent a rash or a breakout. You never know. My daily make-up routine is quick and easy, I use an BB cream, a highlight pen for the corners of my eyes for an open look. A mascara, lipstick or a lip gloss and a highlighter or a bronzer. I prefer to sleep those ten minutes than to stand in front of a mirror.

My hands are the only body part that requires intensive care every day, especially my nails. Sometimes my nails break easily so I cut them short and when they grow it stays good for a while and then they break of. It is a vicious circle! To give my nails a ‘’hard’’ layer I mostly use a nail polish that has a natural look. These from Cairuo that I bought in Morocco is perfect for it.

IMG_3824

My oils! I just cannot live without them. Yes, it sounds extravagant but I mean it. After a shower I use drops in my hair. Lately I’m using Black Seed Oil instead of Moroccan Gold Argan Oil. Both have miraculous benefits and as a frequent heated tools user I cling to it!

Last but not least. I don’t go out the door without a spray of perfume. Either it is my Calvin Klein or this Guess bottle. Both are floral and wooded scented and radiate femininity. Love it!

What is your beauty love?

In my previous #ootd I told you Loves I threw a glimpse at my shoes to wear with the outfit I posted. Now I’m giving you a look at my shoe collection! I’m having quite an addiction and collected over the year’s shoes. I have shoes that are more than five years old! Having lots of shoes is an advantage since you can often change with your outfit or even just with your own mood. Shoes come in many colours, shapes and sizes so every woman or man will find their dream pair. Besides clothing sizes changes a lot but feet sizes will always remain the same, right Loves?

Let me start with my black coloured shoes. As you can see, I have many ankle boots. I think it is because I prefer them the most. That’s the beauty of shoes; I have from flat soles to heels and simple to detail. Same goes with my brown coloured shoes. Wearing Uggs can be sometimes a relieve, especially in the winter month!

Shoes are for all occasions. I can be so happy with just watching them displayed in my closet just because the heels are too high for wearing it all day. I keep this torture for special day’s hihi…

IMG_3476

IMG_3480

Speaking about occasions, Summer shoes or Moroccan loafers, do I need to say more? And I even did not show you my whole collection of it. Ballerinas, sandals and slippers are during Summer nice to wear. Imagine wiggling your nail polished toes in them!

Which pair do you like Loves?

‘’Hello from the other side I must have called a thousand times to tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done, but when I call you never seem to be home, Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I’ve tried.’’

Yes, I’m guilty of listening to Adele’s songs too. But this is not what this blogpost is about. It’s about my rose gold beauty. Hello! I want to share with you Loves an update from my other blogpost about Fashion Goodies Right In Your Pocket.

It was time for a change. I enjoyed all of them and I still enjoy the app All Womenstalk. This app gives you a tour through a woman’s world. From tips; tricks; mindfulness; relationships to recipes you can find it all. Again, I still enjoy the H&M app. I’m even an H&M Club member! Every euro you spend on purchases you collect points for discount vouchers, special offers and exclusive events! Amazing right? Because of it I was invited to the H&M beauty department launch. And you can do it too! Just download the app and subscribe to the H&M Club. Your welcome gift will be 50 points and a 10% discount!

Style.com and Fashion Network made place for Vogue Runway. I love this app! I can watch all the fashion shows from all over the world with just a slide away. Sitting front row with just my pyjamas on and a messy bun oh so lovely!

I have a subscription on the Glamour Magazine since 2012 and with the app I can take the magazine everywhere. Perfect for when I’m on the road. This app has nothing to do with fashion but sure hell with life. Clue the app to register your cycle. It calculates your period, your moods, your fertile window and even answers questions like what is PMS? Is my cycle normal? I really recommend this app to Loves who are trying to regulate their periods and trying to get pregnant. As for me it is a great calendar!

I also add Flipagram & Pomelo. Flipagram to make video’s from pictures. I asked you Loves in mine previous blogpost what your thoughts are about me starting a YouTube channel. I am still thinking about it but using Flipagram for my Instagram for sharing my make-up looks is a good start. Speaking about Instagram. I’m even thinking to start using a filter on it to make my Instagram account more professional. Pomelo is a great app to work with.

Further then this all I use standard apps for blogging. Like WordPress and Facebook page. When it comes to social media apps I use Google+ Bloglovin’ Twitter Snapchat (SaidaSnaps) and Instagram like most of you.

This is it Loves! If you know any apps that are great to use don’t hesitate to let me know.

Beauty Review | French Look Rose.

I am surprised! My local grocery store sells make-up. The place where I thought they sell only groceries has a small beauty display. At first they only sold a small amount of beauty products like perfume, cotton swabs and pads, deodorant and bath/shower products. I used them once and I felt that these products are too harsh for my skin and hair. But I’m truly impressed by their make-up!

These products are very low budget but worth your money. I tried this French manicure nail polish from the brand Cien the brand from Lidl. When I tried the first try of painting my nails; the first thing that came on my mind is: this is not so bad at all!

The first try is perfectly fine if you want that natural French manicure look. I let it dry for a bit and put a second layer on my nails because I wanted a full coverage instead of see a through look, if you know what I mean?

I’m happy with the results! Do you? I’m going to keep Cien in my mind for probably a low budget look VS high-end look which is written on my beauty list.

To be continued Loves!

Beauty Review | Pink Nudes.

IMG_2449

As I said in my Touch Of Gold make-up look I’ve been wandering through my make-up stash. Since I started blogging I feel I purchase a lot of new beauty goodies to use for reviews and new looks. I have to put a hold on myself and my wallet and use the goodies I already have. I don’t want to throw the half away just because it is expired. That would be a waste right Loves?

I am already impressed by the new beauty department of H&M and over the clothing even more. The pigment of this eyeshadow palette is just perfect. Even the white one can you see very well. The light soft pink surprised me too. I thought you would not see the difference between white but the glow of the light soft pink is quite good to see. Imagine when you combine it with the other colours for a beautiful look.

Pink, I’m thinking i’m growing a new obsession on that colour…

What do you think about this eyeshadow palette Loves?

I was invited to the exclusive H&M beauty event. Such a beautiful experience to attend too! Let me introduce you to the new beauty department of H&M, I promise you, you’ll love it!

H&M is well known from their varied collections, they have applied it to their beauty department too. From skincare to make-up brushes you’ll find it all!

Many colours dominate the shelves, a truly colour Walhalla. What I like about the beauty goodies is they are well pigmented and it stays long when you apply it. Perfect for my up-coming autumn make-up looks! Besides they are make-up candy’s to your eyes. The chic packaging will stand beautiful on your vanity.

I wandered around and took the opportunity to look for an eyebrow kit. The Espresso brow kit caught my eye. I’m going to use it for new looks this autumn. Since I already wanted to try contouring, these blend brushes came in handy. They feel so soft and look professional on my stand. The quality is good too, they don’t lose any hair.

Do you know the new department of H&M too?

I’m still having that lightly vibe. When I painted my nails, I thought about that summer blue sky! Beautiful colour.

This nail polish from Maybelline New York lasts up to 7 days! I had to try it, I hate having flaked nails after a while. And I must say it does what it says! I think it’s because it has calcium, iron and silica in it. Maybelline Forever Strong #610 Ceramic Blue is truly a pearl on your nails.

Who hasn’t waved their hands to dry your nails? With this Quick Dry Spray from H&M it is no longer needed! You just wait 60 seconds and spray it on your nails and you’re done. Saves you the crazy looks from your little brothers or anyone else hihi…

Beauty Review | You Make Me Wanna’ Blush!

IMG_1372 IMG_1373 IMG_1376 IMG_1377

The sun shines, many colourful pops of clothing on the streets, everybody looks at their best…And a blush comes in handy!

Beauty comes is many colours and sizes and we should embrace it! Cute blushing cheeks are not only adorable but also trending this summer.

In my make-up routine I use a blush regularly. It adds the complete touch of my look. In the winter season I mostly prefer a sun kissed brown blush for a healthy look. In the spring and summer season pink and peach coloured blushes are my favourite!

Many Loves ask me what the best way is to apply a blush. I always say: there are many ways and I’m not a professional make-up artist. I’m just a girl who likes make-up! The way I do it is from the apples of your cheeks until the half way of the end of my cheekbones. Blush should be used for an adorable blushing not like stripes until your ears like you are in the army! Such a blush don’t.

What is your best way?

Fashion – Tip | Statement Alert.

IMG_0986 IMG_0987 IMG_0988 IMG_0990

I’m obsessed with the trend statement necklaces! I’m seeing them everywhere, from sophisticated to chic to truly eye catchers! I love the way it sparkles your outfit especially when you wear it under the collar of a blouse.

Statement necklaces, the name says it, it really does give you a statement. You can wear it on a school/college day or a chic one at the office. Don’t forget the holidays, just for the last finishing touch on your Christmas outfit.

I really like the one I wore with the outfit Colorblock Statement. Cute for summer, an eye catcher for other days! The second one I like is the simple gold/bordeaux one it’s just cute!

Of course I like all my statement necklaces, every time I want to wear one is a true surprise which one I want to wear!

Tell me your thoughts Loves!

Dutch Model Event Report. | A New World!

IMG_0232 IMG_0236 IMG_0302 IMG_0245 IMG_0365 IMG_0455 IMG_0404 IMG_0498 I attended the Dutch Model Event as you can see. It’s an event that visitors and future models can attend to get casted for fashion shows. That can be for haute couture and commercial. You also can get casted for television as in commercials and acting roles.

Ofcourse I was very excited! Like it was a new world for the future models it was for me too! I saw beautiful creations on the catwalk! I really liked the collection of Dutch designer Addy van den Krommenacker! This collection was ready to wear which is very nice to see from a designer. The last picture is his creations. http://www.addyvandenkrommenacker.com

I also liked Qalanjo. It’s a African/Somali clothing line that is modernized in traditional clothing. It was very beautiful to see the link between high fashion and culture. They did it very well! http://www.qalanjofashion.com

On my instagram: SaidaChahid you can look at the video I took of the QALANJO African collection!

I wish the winners a bright future! Curious who won? Visit Dutch Model Event facebookpage https://www.facebook.com/dutchmodelevent
