Beauty Look | Silver Smokey.

Oh gosh…I’m liking the contour technique a lot now! I even enjoy it more if I use it together with the strobing technique. I’m having more a better feeling about applying make-up, I was a newbie and started with make-up in the beginning of my twenties. I used mainly just a mascara and lip balm. When I was ready for it, I ‘’upgraded’’ into the rest of make-up.

So let me start at the beginning Loves. First I used H&M Beauty Balm BB Cream in the colour Rose Porcelain. I forgot to place it in the flat lay, since I visited the New H&M Beauty Department I’m growing into their beauty goodies. When I finished applying the BB Cream I used my all-time favourite Concealer from Essence in the colour #10 Natural Beige. I applied it under my eyes as the well-known upside down triangles for a natural look. Now comes the contouring part! I used Max and More Contour Stick to shade the parts I wanted to express. I have an oval face so I applied it on my forehead, nose, under the line of my cheeks and my chin line. When I was done I blend it with a beauty blender sponge.  When I’m done with my face I always leave it for a minute or two to start with my eyes before I highlight it.

On my eyelids I used first an eyeshadow from Essence in the colour #11 Tiffunny. I truly love this budget brand. Their eyeshadows are always super soft and long-lasting! Right under my crease I used Max Factor three colour eyeshadow palette in the colour #08 Precious Metals. I only used the black colour of the palette to make my Smokey eye pop. I also used this colour under my waterline, just a little bit. I would make it heavier for a night out. To make a small eyeliner wing I used Essence Eyeliner Pen. It is long-lasting and smudge-proof and I can confirm that. For my eyelashes I used my yet again all-time favourite Essence Maximum Definition Volume Mascara. I love the flexibility the brush has and it separates my eyelashes very well, it doesn’t clump. On my inner lid I used Douglas Jumbo Shadow Pen for that extra open look. Last but not least, I used Catrice Cosmetics Kohl Kajal Eye pencil in the colour #040 White to express my eyes even more.

Back to my face Loves. To highlight my cheeks, nose and my cupid arrow. For the Loves who doesn’t know what the arrow is, that’s the little hills of your upper lip. I used MAC Soft & Gentle and I wasn’t careful with it. I just love this glowy look!

To keep the rest of my face in tone, I used Catrice Cosmetics Beautifying Lip Smoother in the colour #020 Apricot Cream. I’m surprised about this beauty goodie! I thought it would be a peachy coloured transparent shine gloss, but the cream does his work. It leaves that subtle sweet colour on my lips that I truly like.

I don’t know who invented a make-up fixing spray, but I salute you!  For that last touch I sprayed on top of my face Etos Fixing Spray for that natural finish and long lasting effect during my day. Perfect maximum fixation!

What do you think about this New Look Loves?
