One of my goals for 2016 is to adjust my diet in Lactose Free. We are just one day from April and I must say that turning your diet upside down takes a lot of time. I have noticed that I have to take this step by step otherwise I turn into my old habits way to fast. Whenever I’m doing groceries I’m trying all the lactose free products that I can find, (which is not a lot) out and since I started I tried a lot that tastes awful! Thinking about it now makes me even cringe. So I’m going to try until I found the ones that taste good.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw and tasted this cream cheese from Philadelphia. It has the same creamy taste that I used to taste in non-lactose free cream cheese. I’m definitely a ‘’creamy person.’’ I like creamy food like Greek or Turkish yogurts and feta cheese. So I’m glad I bumped into this one at my grocery store!

Since I’m taking it one step at the time let me share with you Loves this Lactose Free foodie. All you need is tortilla wraps, black seedless olives, cucumber and Lactose Free Cream Cheese. So easy! Heat the wraps in a frying pan for a couple of minutes, I like mine a bit crunchy but not too much like a taco.  Lubricate the cream cheese on the wrap and fill it in with cucumber and black olives and you’re done!

This foodie is perfect for a healthy snack during your day.  It gives you that energy boost that you need from your hard work or from your studies. Because it is so easy to make you wouldn’t have to grab an unhealthy snack instead. Besides those two minutes of frying the tortilla wrap is a nice way to get up from your chair to stretch your legs. Two birds in one blow, right Loves?

Are you also allergic from a type of food? And would you like to see more Lactose Free Foodies?

  1. I use dairy-free cream cheese, but this is a great idea! I’m glad to hear you’re going lactose free. I would love to see even more of these recipes. 🙂

    1. Thank you! Very sweet to hear, I probably will do a lot more of these recipes. They are handy for me too, whenever I don’t know what to make I can go through my blog! Xx
