Beauty Review | Calvin Klein IN2U.

Maybe it is just me, but when the seasons are changing I automatically change not only my wardrobe, my make-up routine but also my perfume. During winter I mostly use heavy scented perfumes and gradually changing it to citrus and flowers to summer sweet smelling eye candies. I am now in the ‘’citrus-floral stage’’ and I found in CK IN2U Her what I wanted.

The bottle reminds me of a champagne bottle, although I do not drink alcohol but a fancy bottle on my dressing table I truly can appreciate. The minimal design is simple yet attractive. The fresh floral with a woody oriental base scent starts first with a fresh pink grapefruit and bergamot with a note of red currant leaves scent. The citrus smell of grapefruit gives you throughout your day a surprise gust whenever you move. Just when you thought the smell is gone it surprises you when you just simply get up from your chair behind your desk to freshen yourself up or to get a hot cup of cappuccino.

You would think that the scent is odd and elderly people would like it a lot but the perfume is launched in 2007 as a duo perfume instead of their well know unisex fragrances. This duo Her & Him is intended for the young generation, that Calvin Klein christened as the expressing freedom and possibilities of young people to explore the world. With these thoughts Calvin Klein wanted the world to know that he knows what the younger generation wants and that they can expect it at CK.

I have the bottle for a while now and I must say that I’m very pleased by it. I can safely spray just the right amount because of the 150ml bottle and like I said Loves, I change my perfume seasonally. So, I probably will use it next year!
